More About Claire

I have been an artist, illustrator and bookbinder for over 30 years since graduating from Guildford College in 1983. My passion is to capture the beauty of the British natural world, chiefly insects, birds and now plants. I draw the originals in black ink, pencil and gouache for accuracy and an authentic feel. It’s about raising a smile and with so many people embracing nature again, I want to offer something that is a reminder of the natural world around them. Transferring those drawings onto glassware, ceramics, textiles, and paper is an absolute joy and the simplicity of the images hopefully speak for themselves.
