Our Story: From Countryside Walks to Award-Winning Designs

Claire Vaughan Designs was born from a deep love of British landscapes and wildlife. What started as sketches during countryside walks has blossomed into an award-winning homeware brand celebrated for its distinctive patterns and commitment to quality. Each piece in our collection tells a story of the natural world that surrounds our rural studio.

Our designs have garnered recognition for their authenticity and craftsmanship, including repeated prestigious RHS Show awards and others for our plastic-free, British-made, sustainable & ethical business. These accolades reflect our dedication to creating beautiful, lasting pieces that honour their natural inspiration.

Artisan Glassware

Hand-pressed worktop savers & chopping boards, featuring delicate botanical patterns inspired by hedgerow flowers and woodland plants,and quite literally the birds and the bees.

Handcrafted Ceramics

Every piece in our extensive range has beauty and function in mind. Tableware and lifestyle pieces are hand-decorated with British wildlife designs, from flowers and insects to intricate bird illustrations. All of it hand-drawn by me, Claire Vaughan.

Sustainable Textiles

Unbleached cotton kitchen linens feature our signature nature prints in soothing, earth-inspired colour backgrounds.

Fine Paper Goods

Stationery, gift wrap, and cards printed on recycled paper with our most beloved countryside-inspired designs.

At Claire Vaughan Designs, our respect for nature extends to how we make our products. All our pieces are crafted using sustainable practices and materials. Our ceramics are fired in energy-efficient kilns, textiles made from organic cotton, and paper goods printed on 100% recycled stock. We've also eliminated plastic packaging, using only recyclable and biodegradable materials to ship your treasures safely to your door.
